Suzanne C. Walker (call her Suzi unless she’s in trouble…) is a native of the West Coast. She grew up in Monmouth, Oregon, and moved with her family to Ames, Iowa while in high school. Upon graduation from high school, she again moved east with her family, to West Lafayette, Indiana. She attended Purdue University, and completed her B.A. in Psychology in 1991. After college, she did social work with mentally ill adults in Chicago for three years before moving back to West Lafayette to complete her Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology.

Suzi’s four kids (Maggie, Molly, Sam, and Charlie) are her center, and she can frequently be found happily snapping away on her camera while playing with her kids.  Photography, design, and art have been hobbies she has loved for several years, and she hopes to always continue to learn, grow and try new things in these media.  She also began running in 2008, and when not mom-ing or designing, she’s running or dreaming about her next run!  The San Diego Rock & Roll Marathon in 2010 with her cool mom girls is her next big goal!

Suzi began scrapbooking when her oldest daughter, Maggie, was about 3 months old, and stumbled upon digital scrapbooking in January 2003 (yes, PowerPoint was her first foray into graphic design).  She loves the freedom that digital scrapbooking allows in style, content and presentation. She has been published in Making Memories, Simple Scrapbooks, Creating Keepsakes, and Better Homes and Gardens, among other familiar publications.

She is impulsive, loyal and loving, and hates meatloaf with a consuming passion.

Suzanne has also developed several photography classes for Digital Scrapbook University. Visit DSU to see Suzanne's class list.

(What Customers are saying about my products)

DSP Lark
[5 of 5 Stars]

"A great font for titles or journaling. When used for journaling the lines of the font aren't straight so it makes for very "real looking" journaling."

"I adore the shabby sophistication and elegant style beautifully combined in this gorgeous neutral kit."

DSP Shindig
[5 of 5 Stars]

"I'm so glad I got this font!! I love those decorative dots on it - it's quite unique and it's such a happy-looking font!! :D I belive it'll be very versatile too. I've only used it for a title so far but it would do wonderfully for journaling and sub-titles as well. I've also seen it used for different types of LOs in the galleries and the font just lights up the LOs! It is truly an awesome font and well worth the money not only for its looks but for its versatility!"

SomethinSomethin
[5 of 5 Stars]

"I love the natural tones of this kit. It can be used for any type of layout from masculine to a baby. The elements can be used over and over again. I really like the stapled square pieces of paper - it has so many options in a layout from a background element to being part of your title. Great kit Suzanne!"

"This is another one of those basics, like flour and sugar in a kitchen, that you need to have on hand . . . . these borders just provide the finishing touch to any picture and save a whole lot of time. You wil use these over and over and over. Great idea Suzanne."
