I'm not sure what's going on. I've never had the moderator message. There is a long way around it if you're game... let me know. Hopefully one of the mods will help you out soon.

I've had issues with IE, Firefox and I have started using Safari and love it other then I can't post the images just the links. So not sure if anyone know how to adjust it or not or if I just reload Firefox just to post LOs... Which I would hate to do.

I use Firefox, and I have to post them the long way when I am uploading a file and trying to link a photo in the description (i.e. type the code) but when just linking, it's not too bad.
1. Make sure the thumbnail you want to link is in another tab on your browser. Right click the thumbnail, select Copy Image Location.
2. Then click on Go Advanced (underneath the quick reply box) and click the yellow/mountain icon above the type box and paste the link--that's either Ctrl-V or right-click/paste. That puts your thumbnail into your post.
3. To LINK to the page from the thumbnail, HIGHLIGHT the whole code and go back to your thumbnail tab. Right click the thumbnail again, only this time choose Copy LINK Location.
4. Head back to the reply tab (the Go Advanced screen again) and click the blue/world linky button up above. Here you will again paste the information you have copied with Ctrl-V or right-click/paste. Now your thumbnail should link to the page of the layout.
Is this clear as mud, or what?? It works on the newest version of firefox on Windows 7. That's all I know.

I no longer have a "go advanced" or HTML option! I am investigating a different browser. I was able to do this with my old computer with IE, and this computer with probably the IE loaded {win8 -- grrr} which is AOL, which I cannot stand. If anyone has any recommendations while I investigate, please feel free to share!
PS - I also changed my "AOL" IE to a different home page, so happier there!

today
note to all others out there with this frustration! Google Chrome does not work with putting the thumbnail image into the forums, Internet Explorer does for me. I have been advised to try Firefox, does that work with my DSPing??? Cause that's really the only reason I need the internet period!

Stephanie, try pming Sands_Healy. She knows how to make it work in Chrome. You might, also find her hanging out in the Grannie thread.

Here's a link to a tutorial I wrote up for the Lyrical Challenge folks--I hope it will help some of you who are still having problems with this! (The tutorial covers Chrome, Firefox, and Safari, with a link to Kim's Internet Explorer tutorial.)
How to Insert Clickable Thumbnails
(Be sure to click on the at the top of the tutorial page to make the page larger and easier to read)
