NKOTB 15 Sign-Ups!

It's almost time for another New Kids on the Block contest!

Our next NKOTB contest will run from Saturday May 2 - Friday May 22.
There will be a closing chat to announce the winners after the contest.
Mars will be facillitating NKOTB15 with help from Cathiemarie.
The DET and DET Alumni will also be participating with expert suggestions on your layouts.

Sign ups start NOW and end Saturday, May 2nd

Absolute deadline to enter is Friday, May 8th when the first week's layout is due, but you would miss all the feedback.

Email marsolson@shaw.ca with NKOTB in the subject. For prize awards and challenge kits distribution you must include your DSP username, real First and Last name and the email you used to register in the STORE at www.store.digitalscrapbookplace.com.

You will be notified sometime prior to the start of the contest that your sign up info has been received. If you do not receive notification prior to Round 1, please still participate, and we will ensure your information is added.

This is a 3 week contest consisting of 3 rounds, with one challenge per round. Layouts entered receive help and feedback from other members in the form of contructive comments. You are encouraged to use suggestions given during the round to edit your layouts and upload consecutive versions. Please upload the new version rather than overwrite the old version so everyone can see the changes.

Schedule for NKOTB 15
Round 1: Saturday, May 2 - Friday, May 8
Round 2: Saturday, May 9 - Friday, May 15
Round 3: Saturday, May 16 - Friday, May 22

The deadline to upload layouts is midnight EST on the last day of each round. (e.g. the deadline to upload your final layout for round 1 is Friday, May 8th midnight EST)

Update May 2: NKOTB 15 has started now but remember the absolute deadline to enter is Friday, May 8th when the first week's layout is due. You would miss all the feedback with a late entry but as long as you meet the requirements and have a layout in the NKOTB-Round 1 gallery by Friday midnight est you will be eligible to participate.

OK, I am never shy! My name is Tricia. I am a 39 year old disabled (was RN) mom from Wisconsin. I was born and raised in Milwaukee and now live in a city so tiny I go through shopping withdrawals. I am not new to computers, but very new to anything artsy and/or photoshop/CS4 related. I have plenty of pictures and with 4 kids, great pictures in my head, but can't get them into expression onto the computer! I try very hard and will also be happy to help you if I can!

Hello all,

After lurking around this site for more than a year I'm finally starting to feel brave enough to participate. I'm a supervisor for the administrative services department of an engineering firm in Omaha, NE and live across the river in Council Bluffs, IA. So after working all day on a computer it's hard to sit down again to one when I get home, but I'm slowly becoming addicted to this place and want to learn more. I look forward to all the expert suggestions & comments on my LOs that the next three weeks will bring and communicating with new people from around the world. So let the fun begin!!

I've played around with Paint Shop Pro for about 2 years and have made a few layouts for use in frames at home but only became brave enough to upload my first layout for DSU this week. I got such a friendly welcome I thought I'd give the NKOTB contest a go too.

(21+18). i am originally fm the south (new orleans and memphis) but have lived abroad for the past 30 years. i quit my job to care for my handicaped husband 18 years ago and have been paper scrapin for a while now. digi scrap started about a year ago after taking a course in PhotoImpact (still trying to get photoshop down).

My name is Brooke and I am 32 years old and live in Texas. I have recently become addicted to photography and have literally thousands of pictures of my niece, nephews and dogs. I am at a loss of where to start both at home and here on the site, so I thought I'd start here!

I've been digiscrapping for about a year, but mostly just playing around and teaching myself Photoshop. Now it's time to get serious because I've already lost 2,000 pictures (from my London trip and my cruise ) and I would at least like something to show if my computer crashes again. So, nice to meet y'all and I can't wait to get started!

P.S. Tara, what is "CTing"?
