I'm trying to catch up on 5 years of scrapping (starting with my son's birth) so the thought of doing an album before the pictures are even taken is quite impressive.
I'm so sad I missed the scrappy hour sales, I'll have to wait a little while before I can get some of the kits, but they are in my wish list(-;

Sorry guys, I lied last night. LOL I couldn't sleep, but my internet was down (thank gosh I got a new modem today!) so I scrapped some more! I'll probably settle down during the week though as I entered the DET contest!

Wow, Shana! Girl, you are gonna get carpal tunnel! lol But it will be worth it, with all the beautiful pages you're cranking out
So, Z, Suz, Tina, Meryl, is there an official decision? Can we use CQ for this challenge, or maybe only Z's Stamp QC in 2 layers lol? How about alphas?

OH! Sorry Raphne!!! Didnt' see the question before!
Alphas count as one element. Quick clicks or any template or sketch doesn't count as anything - use any of those you want to! Meryl's coordinating alpha won't count as extra either; it's part of the overall multiplicity set. We want you to complete your layouts as you like them with word art or alphas so you have a nice finished page.
The thing with limiting other elements was so that you use these kits cohesively for an album look - rather than mixing a whole lot with other kits. Of course you can mix away with other challenges or even for this one if you don't care about being counted for the end result. The point is to enjoy your layouts and have fun!
I'm headed to see the new layouts now! Edit: And I soooo enjoyed the gallery!

I know this sounds strange, but these colors remind me of the 70's. I must have had some clothes the color of the coral and dark teal. I'm picturing something light, soft and floral with the coral and rich and veloury (is that a word?) with the teal. However, just on their own I'd love the see the teal and brown w/a grungy, rugged, frayed denim-type look, but the coral, cream and tan more soft and feminine. Kind of boy meets girl.
