Sandy - I did have very long hair when I was younger - I like the idea of Rapunzel, but it's a place not a name.
Z - Vanna has turned the letters with your first vowel - rabthl.

Okay then, how about "Rabbit Hole"???

that has four vowels, Sandy!
rabthl, now I'll pick an 'e' and see if Vanna turns over a letter. Hey how much money was under the 'a'? lol...hope it was a free spin card; I might need it.

Hey guess who is now part owner of an RV! Yep! My sister went to an auction and got a great deal - and I'm going in on it with her. We rented one this summer for our whirlwind tour of Texas, and she's always wanted one so now we have one!
It's not as big as Margies! It's 29 feet long and has a bed at one end, and bunks at the other by the loo, with the sofa and kitchen complete with booth and fridge/freezer inbetween. The sink/stove/sofa is on a slide out on one side which gives another 18 inches when you have it extended. Makes for a lot of room inside!
Anyway, looking forward to our next trip, whenever we get it roadworthy - we have to fix up a few things but not too much, like it needs a replacement mattress for one of the bunks, and I've had to rewire in a new slide switch. Need to get the battery hooked up so I know if I wired it okay!
I'll post some pictures soon.

Congrats, Z. We just bought a 5th wheel in August so we are still getting it ready to hit the road next year. We've taken out twice on the weekend to get our RV legs under us. We need a few more weekends to practice. LOL! Have you ever seen the movie RV with Robin Williams? We've had a few of those incidents happen to us.
I'm impressed that you can to the rewiring yourself.

Well it remains to be seen if I can! But yeah, only involved matching color wires; hopefully I couldn't mess it up.
No, I haven't seen that movie - perhaps I should look for it at Blockbuster tonight!

RV - The library had it but it was checked out - but Blockbuster had it in house and it was a scream! Thanks for the recommendation!

It's one of movies I can watch over and over, like "Uncle Buck." Now that we have an RV, we need to watch it again. It will be so much more relevant, especially the dump station part!

Congrats on your new RV, Z! You'll have a blast in it, I'm sure! We just bought a brand new fifth wheel 2 weeks ago and are taking it out on its maiden voyage next weekend! I'm seriously excited! Did you read the post in the I&S thread about how we couldn't get it unhooked from the truck last Saturday night after we got it home??? We had to get a friend to help us on Sunday after church!

OH no!!! Haven't had that problem yet!
We can't get the levellers down - they won't budge up or down from being rusted. The whole lot of trailers auctioned were Katrina aid trailers - and I guess it sat in some wet location. We've used all kinds of lubricant and rust remover on it. To replace them would be fine but the bolts are rusted too. May have to take it to the local dealer and have them loosened.

Well, good luck with that, Z. You'll need them to be able to use the trailer!

We got them off - so we can replace them no problem. Still can't figure out why they won't turn, though. Thought it was the rust but we removed all that and they look shiny new now! (and pretty oily too, lol)

Just popping in to say MERRY CHRISTMAS to all! I'm tracking Santa on NORAD and I know he's already been to a lot of your houses!

We've been watching Santa too, but he's got a long way to go before he finds us.
