Letter from Team Digital

It has begun. The Christmas season is in full force. As I run from store to store looking for that perfect present that will get the excited “this is just what I wanted” response from my children, I am reminded of my own childhood and the excitement that Christmas brings. Making of the wish list for Santa and the extra copies for my parents and grandparent just to make sure everyone knew. Also I remember the fun of practicing the Christmas play at church. The wonderful smells coming from my momma’s kitchen. Decorating of the tree with as much decorations and tinsel as we could find.
Those memories are as sweet as any present I could possibly get. When I had my own children, I wanted to make sure that Christmas would be as memorable as mine was. Family traditions are the best ways to ensure that our children get that same feeling. When Destanee was born, I started the tradition of traveling to the tree farm and picking out that most perfect tree, my husband on the other hand thought it was crazy to take a baby out there but that year a tradition was born and my children look forward to it every year.

As scrapbookers, we have tools and artistic talent to put those memories down on paper to share with future generations. You can now not only remember those moments but see them in pictures and journaling. In years to come, I know that your family will be so glad you were a digital scrapbooker. So if you haven’t already, get out there and start a family tradition and scrap those memories for your entire family share every year.

Has the pen tool baffled you from the beginning, causing you to avoid it like the plague? Have you ever used your shape tool then resized the shape and ended up with jagged edges? Not after this class. The pen is your friend and you too can make amazing scrapbook pages and elements once you finish this 4 week class. You will be making tags, lace, eyelets, ribbon, silhouettes and so much more, all with your path tools. This class is loaded with freebies! You should have a basic understanding of Photoshop prior to taking this class. This is an In-Depth class on the Drawing Tools (Path Tools) in Photoshop. Video Tutorials included.**NOTE: This class is not for PSE.** Instructor Lisa Carter . $30.

Have You Heard About Coolect?

Coolect software is a fun and easy "get organized" software that helps you to get your photos, media, journaling and more all together in one application to give your memories meaning. All you need to do is create your contacts, enter your events, import your photos and start connecting - coolecting. Once your media is coolected, you can then publish (share by email) or print a media album that has been created using those connections saving you time and searches.
