Spring Cleaning? I sit in my dining room, looking out the window at a grey Midwestern afternoon; it's snowing. But it's March, and some tradition (who made this up, anyway?) says that it's time to clean my cupboards and baseboards. Time to dust the window treatments and shake out my rugs. It's time for spring cleaning. We can spring clean in our scrapbooking, too. Take a look around your scrapbooking space. Is it cluttered with junk? How's your computer? Do you have photos, pages, and kits that need to be backed up and moved off your hard drive? |

Speaking of cleaning up, I came across some really cute papers I'd almost forgotten about as I was writing this! I actually whipped out a two-page layout from my oldest daughter's birthday lunch in no time at all, so I thought I'd share these with you. [See our newsletter freebie] These papers have patterns I created using the Paisely Power Brush Set from the DSP Store (in case you want to embellish like I've done). I hope you enjoy them! Whatever the season where you are, I hope that you can find an afternoon to spruce up your scrapping spaces with me. I'm sure that you'll find that you're more productive; you might find some old photos you'd nearly forgotten that will go with that kit that you knew you'd use... Or better yet, go shop and find some new stuff to (ahem) fill the space you've just cleared! Suzanne C. Walker |
