Light Machine is the ultimate Digital Dark Room Tool
With this plugin you have unique control in improving and modifying your
digital images.
However within the plugin you have far more control than the usual photo
correction programs.
While the interface is fairly complex, the programme has a very intuitive
tip dialogue system where it displays information on the function and
usage of each tool as your mouse runs over the tool or the preview image.
This and the choices of basic or advanced interfaces makes the plugin
valuable to even beginners in digital photo manipulation.
One of the best features of this plugin is the ability to apply corrections
to various and separate areas by use of the spot mask option. A simple
click and a new spot is applied to your image – and a slider allows
for increasing and decreasing the size of the area the corrections are
applied to.
I am amazed at the programmes ability to correct very poor photos, but
also apply artistic effects.
