Tutorial: Craft: Christmas Four Pack

 Materials

  • Scraps of Life the Season – Winter Holiday (Kit: Retro Christmas Page Kit and Word Art from Titles)
  • A four pack of a popular coffee drink available in most grocery stores. (These jars are 4.9 oz.)
  • 2 sheets of photo paper ( I used a matte presentation paper, slightly thinner than regular photo paper)
  • Font: CK Anecdote
  • Black Paint
  • Assorted Ribbon
  • Hole punch
  • Adhesive
Directions

Drink or empty containers.

Scrub off labels and adhesive.   Clean jars and let dry.

Paint paper container with black paint.  I used an acrylic.  In areas where the paper is glossy paint it once and let dry. Go back over.

Measure bottles.  The label area for these bottles is 8.5 in x 3 in.  (If your bottles are the same size, use the template)

Arrange backgrounds and other pieces to suit your taste.

You’ll notice that the red ribbon is not in the kit, I made it just for this project.  You can download from the link in the materials list.

Make one label for each bottle.  Save each piece as a jpeg.

Create a new document 8”x10”.

Drag two of the labels you just created onto the new document. Add the four bottle caps to this.  Print this on your photo paper and set aside.  Do the same for the other 2 bottles.

Now we will create the outside of the drink box.   I carefully measured the sides of the box and each were 4 in x 3 in. (Again, if your box is the same, use the template provided.)

Arrange pieces to taste.

Create one for each of the four sides, saving each one as a jpeg.

Create a new document 8 in x 10 in. Arrange all four side pieces.

Print on photo paper.

Carefully cut out bottle labels, box pieces, and bottle tops.

Using adhesive carefully adhere labels to bottles, tops to bottles, and side pieces to the box.

As an added touch, I punched holes along the top of the box near the handle.

Fill each bottle with goodies and enjoy!
